Throughout 2021 Shuul Colours will bring you interviews and insights in to some of the amazing sportspeople we have in our country, with a particular focus on sportswomen.
We're delighted to launch the series with an interview with Roscommon GAA Ladies Footballer Honor Ennis.
A management consultant with PWC in Dublin, the 26-year-old, who is the holder of two Connacht intermediate championship medals, is looking forward to the season ahead under new Rossies manager and former Mayo star Diane O’Hora.
First, though, Shuul Colours puts Honor through her paces, discussing important things like walk-on songs and favourite one liners (It's a real gem!).
If you could have a ‘walk on’ song, like in the darts, what would it be?
Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield. Still trying to convince Jenny Higgins to put it on our matchday playlist...

What is an interesting fact about you that’s not commonly known?

Anna Kendrick, not for acting or singing ability, but I like her style and she seems pretty down to earth
Favourite book?

Favourite one-liner joke or saying?
"I'm no good at judging the size of crowds, but I'd say there’s around seventeen million of them out there" (I can relate to Dougal on that one!)
Most embarrassing experience?
Trying to jive with Shane Monaghan (S&C coach) in the 'La Parot Rouge' (Roscommon town) after winning the Connacht Final 2018!
If you could visit only one other county in Ireland for the next five years, which would it be and why?
I’ll take anywhere outside of my 5km at the moment!
A massive thanks to Honor for her time and wishing her all the best in the year ahead.
